For the 2021 edition of Making Waves, we put out a brief for applicants to respond too. We asked everyone to create pieces inspired by Anthony Gormley's Another Time Sculpture. We chose this sculpture because it's local to Kent and we wanted to give our entrants a reason to go outside & take a walk during periods of Lockdown.

Once the pieces were made, we asked participants to submit to one of the following categories for judging:

Illustration & Painting

Photography

Poetry

Once the judging process was complete, we held an exhibition at The Margate School, complete with a live awards ceremony on opening night!
